- Blood tests are not required.
- Both parties must be over 21 years of age. If either or both are minors, but over 16 years, a notarized written consent of one or both parents or legal guardian must be produced (Notarized proof of legal guardianship must be submitted).
- Both parties must not be within the prohibited decrees of relationship to each other; e.g. brother and sister, and be of the opposite sex.
- Following the wedding ceremony the Pastor or Marriage Officer must have the marriage license registered at the Registrar General's office on the island of Grand Turk. This legal requirement means that your registered marriage license will probably have to be sent to you following your departure.
